Professional Bio of Isalm M. Elwany, Verdict’s founder and managing partner
Not much professionals collect in their hands the skills of clear thought, full bilingual mastery, meticulousness, foresight, attention to details, and anticipation; the very skills needed to think and execute every strategic work.

Islam M. Elwnay has worked with reputable international law firms in Egypt at which he performed and delivered the tasks of legal research, legal writing, offering legal opinion, and giving legal advice, with least supervision and at highest quality. He also supported researchers and authors with translating, editing, and proofreading complex texts to and from Arabic, from and to English. Islam has further published articles both in print and online, in English and in Arabic, at Daily News Egypt, and at other Arabic online magazine.

Islam holds an LLB from Cairo University, and is legally and linguistically trained at the American University in Cairo.
MOHAMED SHALKANY
is a driven professional legal counsel with a master’s degree in commercial law and international investment, Cairo University. He has a relevant labor, criminal, administrative, civil, commercial and corporate law experience in local and multinational holding companies in Egypt.

His intensive legal experience as Senior Corporate & Compliance lawyer and Legal Counsel for more than 10-years enables him to bring uniquely well-rounded experience at the multiple areas of Tax law, Commercial Transactions, Contracts, Real-estate Registration, Intellectual Property, Trademark regulations, Due diligences, Mergers & Acquisitions, Research and Development of Compliance policies and procedures.
